Applications are invited for interview to be held in offline mode only at Kakdwip Research
Centre, ICAR- Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture, Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas, West
Bengal - 743347 for engagement of one (01) Young Professional-II under the PMMSY-funded project
entitled “National Surveillance Programme for Aquatic Animal Diseases- II (PMSSY-II)” purely on
contractual basis as per details given below:

Essential B.F.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & A.H. or
qualification M.Sc. (Fisheries Science/ Zoology/ Industrial Fisheries/ Marine Biology,
Microbiology/ Biotechnology)
Desirable qualification 1. Working experience in Fish and Shellfish Diseases
2. Working experience in the field of Microbiology and Molecular
Biology as reflected by publication
Remuneration ₹ 42,000/- per month
Age Limit The Minimum age will be 21 years and Maximum 45 years with
relaxation as per rules.

1. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply and appear in the interview.
2. All candidates must send the prescribed application form to krckakdwip@gmail.com. None will be
allowed to appear in the interview unless he/ she sends duly filled in prescribed application form to the
said email.
3. Candidates are required to send scanned copies of application addressed to the Head of Research
Centre, Kakdwip Research Centre attached with detailed bio-data, affixed with recent passport size
photograph and copies of self-attested certificates in support of age, qualifications, experience,
testimonials and other credentials to krckakdwip@gmail.com within 5:30 PM on 1st June, 2024. All
applications received after the mentioned time limit will be summarily rejected. Eligible candidates will
be informed through E-mail.
4. Unless a candidate sends Certificate/Provisional Certificate in respect of Graduation & Post Graduation
Qualification, his/her application will be summarily rejected.
5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates, who will be called for Interview.
6. Candidates who are already working / or in similar positions should submit No Objection Certificate
obtained from their employer / supervisor along with the filled in application form.
7. The selected candidates will be stationed at Kakdwip, West Bengal or at project site in any State of
India as per requirement time to time and will have to conduct extensive field work involving frequent
travel, laboratory works and survey of different sites for sample collection for surveillance of Aquatic
animal diseases.
8. Selected Candidate (s) will be required to produce all original documents at the time of Joining.
9. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at ICAR-CIBA at any point of
time.
10. The Director’s decision will be final and binding on all aspects.
