This document is based on GRN Project specifications, widely used international codes, standards and good

engineering practices that are applied in Oil & Gas Projects and is intended to highlight the minimum tests and
inspections to ensure quality requirements are fulfilled within the scope of the document.
This ITP serves primarily as a plan and it shall NOT be used to obtain signatures. Acceptance Signatures shall be
obtained on the referenced inspection and test records, which shall form generic records to be handed over to the
Client.
The referenced inspection and test records (ITR’s) are controlled independently. Therefore, the latest revision of
these ITR’s, at the time of initiation of the ITR’s, shall be utilized.
When filling ITR’s do not leave any blanks. If any item/activity is not applicable for the case denote as N/A.
If any correction is required, strike once, correct and counter sign. Use of correction fluid on ITR is forbidden.
ITR number suffixed with letter “X” are classified as in-process Site/Field Quality Records and will not be part of
the Turnover System Process where as ITR number suffixed with letter “A” are part of the Turnover Process and
Turnover Records.

Definitions/Abbreviations
An inspection where PIUL/GRN plans to audit, monitor or witness the activity in
RI-Random Inspection : process on random or periodic basis. No formal notification (RFI) required to
inspection parties.
An activity that requires the review and acceptance of the Subcontractor’s
R- Review Point :
documentation. No formal notification (RFI) required to inspection parties.
Monitoring or observation to verify whether or not materials, items, or
installation conform to specified requirements. Surveillance activity may include
S- Surveillance : audit, inspection, witness of testing, review of quality documentation and
personnel qualification, and evaluation of personnel performance. No formal
notification (RFI) required to inspection parties.
An activity that requires witnessing by inspection parties as indicated in this ITP.
The Subcontractor shall notify PIUL QC/GRN 24hrs in advance. After proper
W-Witness Point : notification has been provided, the PIUL is not obliged to hold further processing
if the GRN Inspector is not available to attend or to witness the activity on the
date & time notified. Formal notification (RFI) required to inspection parties.
An activity that requires inspection/verification and acceptance by inspection
parties as indicated in this ITP before any further processing is permitted.
Subcontractor shall notify PUIL QC/GRN 24hrs in advance. The Subcontractor
H-Hold Point : shall not proceed with further activities beyond the HOLD point unless the
responsible inspector’s acceptance has been obtained. Formal notification (RFI)
