2.2 Calibration Procedure

Shut down the

BWMS （ Control

Unit Power off）

Prepare a clean
beaker and place the
water sample. Wash
2 the beaker once
before use to ensure
the accuracy of the
data

Connect the
EC300A, press the
green switch key--
turn on; Press the
Mode key to switch
to the measuring
3 interface. The first
row shows the
salinity value (PPT)
and the second row
shows the
temperature value
(c) . Keep the
electrodes clean.
 Put the electrode
probe into the water
to be tested. The
probe should not
enter the water
beyond the black
part.

After 2 minutes,
read the temperature
on the display.

5 Prepare two different temperature water in advance, per beaker 500 ml

a. 1# ： water from the fridge, suggest temperature
5℃~15℃（41℉~59℉）
b. 2# ： normal temperature water, advised
temperature30℃~40℃（86℉~104℉）

c. Prepare two 500ml beaker for 1# and 2# water sample

 Remove the
temperature sensor
from the EUT.
There are two kinds
of temperature

sensor A,B. Do the
following operation
for A type
(attention: don’t
remove the cover)

Start the
BWMS （ Control
Unit Power
on ） ， then check
the present

temperature on the
PIPE display, and
record it on the
Annex sheet A--Test
Value.

Put the temperature

sensor B
electrode into the
8 sample water and
don’t rotate the
top part of
connecting cable

Directly check the

temperature on the
PIPE display, and

record it on the
Annex sheet A--Test
Value.
 Put the 1# water
into beaker. Then
put the Temperature
sensor of EUT into
the beaker at the
same time with the
portable sensor.
Power on the
portable sensor and

press the Mode,
then read the
temperature and
record it on the
Annex Sheet A --
Reference Value.

Repeat the step 7, 8 to test the 2# sample water and record it

Repeat the step 6,7 to test the 2# sample water and record it.
