Dear Sir SDS Cantonjos:

I am writing to bring to your attention the unique challenges faced by the personnel of Briccio A.
Aninang Sr. High School particularly in relation to the daily travel condition endured by our teaching
staff.

Out of the 30 teachers at our school 15 of them are daily commuting from other barangays and
municipalities to reach the school premises. What makes the situation particularly demanding is that these
individuals have to rely on their private vehicles for transportation such as motorcycle and boats because
the only transportation in Panguiranan departs 6:30 am and leaves Masbate City at 11:30 am.
Additionally two of our teachers are crossing the river as part of their daily commute. When the tide is
low they
Cross the muds barefoot without minding the danger of any dangerous materials in the river.

Considering the aforementioned circumstances, we are formally requesting the consideration to hazard
pay for our personnel who endured these challenging travel condition on a daily basis. We believe that the
additional support in the form of hazard pay will not only acknowledge the hardship faced by our teachers
but also serve as means of fair compensation for additional risk and inconveniences they encounter.

We are committed by ensuring the well-being and fair treatment of our educators, and we believe that
providing hazard pay for those facing challenging travel condition is an important step in this direction,
