election_process

This review examines employment and selection processes in organizations between

2010 and 2020, focusing on the modalities used in these tasks. The recruitment process
aims to provide the best candidates with excellent qualifications, while the selection
process aims to select the best and most suitable candidate for the job. Both processes
are crucial for managing human resources and the company as a whole. The
recruitment process aims to prevent hiring the wrong person, while the selection
process focuses on justice, equality, and equal opportunities for all candidates. Both
processes require control and consideration of the necessary conditions to ensure the
right person is in the right place.

The study analyzed the lived experience of leadership styles on employee job
satisfaction in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms in the Philippines. Five major
themes emerged: strengths development, communication and innovation, trust and
respect, delegation and employee empowerment, and reward and correction. Most BPO
companies practiced a combination of transformational and transactional leadership
styles. Employee satisfaction was found to be enhanced when leaders developed skills,
communicated innovation, built trust, delegates and empowered employees, recognized
top performers, and corrected mistakes respectfully.

The recruitment and selection process is a crucial aspect of human resource

management, requiring thorough data for decision-making. Over the past century,
researchers and practitioners have explored various dimensions and perspectives to
understand the process, including job performance, technology efficiency, interviewer
training, recruitment strategies, and applicant manipulation. However, there is a lack of
research on establishing a common, measurable, and objective interview structure.
Researchers recommend further research, but the problem lies in understanding
existing selection practices and addressing the biases that employers may adopt in their
selection process.
