hole. Go back and forth between each eye hole repeating the process from the first eye. Pull
slightly on the yarn after going through each hole. Do this about 3 times on each side until you
reach the look you want. Follow the pictures for help. There is also a youtube video I have for
extra help on this process.

Assembly

Head and Body:

1. Thread your needle with a long strand of white yarn. Insert the needle into a hole in
between the eyes. Bring the needle to a lower corner on the eye. Wrap the needle
around the outside of the eye and insert into a hole on top of the eye. Pull a little tightly
to get a highlight on the eye. Repeat for the 2nd eye. Weave in any tail ends.
2. For the Moose and Unicorn: Mark 4 spots with pins in between rounds 4 and 5. The
set of pins will be 3 holes apart. The pins will be one hole apart from each other. Insert
the needle into a hole on the head. Bring the needle up to a pinned spot and embroider
a nostril. Repeat for the 2nd nostril. Weave in any tail ends.
3. For the moose if you want eyebrows. Thread your needle with a strand of black
embroidery thread. Insert the needle into a hole on the head. Bring it up to about 3
rounds above the eye. Embroider an eyebrow. Repeat for the 2 nd one.
Pin the head and body together for extra support while sewing
4. Sew the head and body together. You may need to add more stuffing while you sew.

2. Sew the arms onto the body.

Sweet Oddity Art 12

Legs:
1. turn the body upside down with the nose facing away from you. Pin the legs onto the
bottom of the body approximately between rounds 5 and 6. (the process is the same for
the unicorn)
2. Sew the legs onto the body.

Antlers and Horn:

1. For the unicorn pin the horn onto the middle of the head. Sew the horn onto the
head. I do not have pictures of this.
2. For the moose pin the antlers onto the top of the head. Sew them onto the head.

Sweet Oddity Art 13

Ears:
1. For the moose ears. Fold the ears at the bottom to give a pinched look. Sew the ear
about 3 stitches up and the bottom of the ears to hold the pinched look.
2. Pin the ears next to the antlers and sew them on.
3. For the unicorn pin the ears onto the head and sew them on.

Helpful Tips:
Exact colors and brands of yarn used:
1. Brown: I love this yarn light brown
2. Red: I love this yarn red
3. Green: I love this yarn jellybean
4. Cream: I love this yarn cream
5. Dark Brown: I love this yarn dark brown
6. White: I love this yarn white
7. Pink: I love this yarn Pink
8. Silver: Caron Simply Soft Party

You can use different eye and nose sizes. You might have to adjust the placements if you
change the sizes.

You can use different hook sizes and weights of yarn. It will just change the size of your
moose/unicorn and you might need to adjust eye and nose placement.

How you stuff matters! The type of stuffing you use, how you stuff, all this matters on how your
moose/unicorn turns out. I prefer Polyfil stuffing but you can use other types.

Additional Information
How to make a bob or bobble stitch:
Begin a double crochet in the proper stitch.

*It will be easier if you carry the yarns instead of changing the colors each time you make a
bobble stitch*

Yarn over and bring up a loop(you will have 3 loops on your hook), Yarn over and draw through
2 loops on your hook

Sweet Oddity Art 21

Yarn over, insert your hook into your stitch, bring up a loop(you will now have 4 loops on your
hook), yarn over and draw through 2 loops on your hook, insert your hook into the same stitch,
bring up another loop(You will have 5 loops on your hook), yarn over and draw through 2 more
loops on your hook.

Sweet Oddity Art 22

Keep track of how many loops you have on your hook. Yarn over and draw through all 4 loops
you have on your hook then ch 1 and move on to the next stitches with green. Repeat the
bobble stitch for every toe.
