“MINI My Little Panda Bear”

Materials
- 2,5 mm (US 1 ½) hook
- 3,0 mm (US 2 1⁄2) needles
- 4 different yarns calling for 2,5 mm (US 1 ½) hook
- stuffing
- 2 safety eyes 6 mm

MINI My Little Panda Bear turns out at a size of 11 cm with the yarn I used (sockyarn). If you are choose
other yarn with smaller ore bigger gauge the dolls measurements will change. So you have to correct the
eyes-size.

Yarns

I used the following yarns:

White for the head and body,


Regia Uni 4-ply, color 2080 (+/- 40 gr)
Black for the arms, legs, ears and eyespots,
Regia Tweed 4-ply, color 98 (+/- 40 gr)
Pink for the ears and scarf,
Regia Melange 4-ply, color 2242
Grey for the paws,
Regia Uni 4-ply, color 2070

Abbreviations

Head
Make a loop with white.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop 10. 6x (3 sc, 2sc inc, 3 sc) (48 sts
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts) 11. 6x (sc in next 7 st, 2sc inc) (54 sts)
3. 6x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (18 sts) 12.-15. 54 sc (4 rounds)
4. 6x (1 sc, 2sc inc, 1 sc) (24 sts) 16. 6x (sc in next 7 st, sc2tog) (48 sts)
5. 6x (sc in next 3 st, 2sc inc) (30 sts) 17. 6x (3 sc, sc2tog, 3 sc) (42 sts)
6. 30 sc 18. 6x (sc in next 5 st, sc2tog) (36 sts)
7. 6x (2 sc, 2sc inc, 2 sc) (36 sts) 19. 6x (2 sc, sc2tog, 2 sc) (30 sts)

Break yarn and fill the head with soft stuffing material.

Snout
Make a loop with white.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 4sc inc, 2 sc, 4sc inc, 2 sc (12 sts)
3. 1 sc, 3x (2sc inc), 3 sc, 3x (2sc inc), 2 sc (18 sts) (18 sts)
4.-5. 18 sc (2 rounds)

Break yarn. Make sure you leave enough yarn to fix the
snout onto the head. Fill the snout with soft stuffing and place the snout between row 13 and 19 of the head.

Eyespots
Make a loop with black.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 4sc inc, 2 sc, 4sc inc, 2 sc (12 sts)

Break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to fix the
eyespots onto the head. Remove the filling out of the head.
Push the safety eyes in the eyespots and place them
between row 13 and 14 of the head with 5 sc between.
Fix the safety eyes and fill the head with stuffing material
again. Now sew the eyespots onto the head.

Embroider with black yarn a nose and mouth.

Body
Make a loop with white.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts)
3. 6x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (18 sts)
4. 6x (1 sc, 2sc inc, 1 sc) (24 sts)
5. 6x (sc in next 3 st, 2sc inc) (30 sts)
6. 6x (2 sc, 2sc inc, 2 sc) (36 sts)
7. 6x (sc in next 5 st, 2sc inc) (42 sts)
8.-15. 42 sc (8 rounds)
16. 6x (sc in next 5 st, sc2tog) (36 sts)
17.-18. 36 sc (2 rounds)
19. 6x (2 sc, sc2tog, 2 sc) (30 sts)
20.-21. 30 sc (2 rounds)
22. 6x (sc in next 3 st, sc2tog) (24 sts)
23. 24 sc
Change color and continue with black.
24. 24 sc
25. 6x (1 sc, sc2tog, 1 sc) (18 sts)
26.-27. 18 sc (2 rounds)

Break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to sew the head onto the body. Fill with stuffing material.

Legs

Make a loop with black.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop 10. 3x (sc in next 7 st, sc2tog) (24 sts)
2. 4sc inc, 2 sc, 4sc inc, 2 sc (12 sts) 11. 3 sc, 3x (sc2tog, 1 sc), 12 sc (21 sts)
3. 1 sc, 3x (2sc inc), 3 sc, 3x 12. 2 sc, 3x (sc2tog, 1 sc), 10 sc (18 sts)
(2sc inc), 2 sc (18 sts) 13.-14. 18 sc (2 rounds)
4. 2 sc, 3x (2sc inc), 6 sc, 3 x 15. 3x (sc in next 4 st, sc2tog) (15 sts)

To connect the legs onto the body take a long
piece of black yarn, put the needle through
the top of the leg (between round 3 and 4
counted from the top), then through the body
(between row 7 and 8) and then through the
2nd leg. Go the same way back through the
body and leg. Repeat this and fasten off. In
this way, the legs remain movable.

Paws

Make a loop with grey.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 4sc inc, 2 sc, 4sc inc, 2 v (12 sts)
3. 1 sc, 3x (2sc inc), 3 sc,
3x (2sc inc), 2 sc (18 sts)

Break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn


to sew the paws onto the feet. Make another one.

Embroider with grey 3 toes.

Arms
Make a loop with black.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop 11. 7 sc, 2x sc2tog, 7 sc (16 sts)
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts) 12.-13. 16 sc (2 rounds)
3. 6x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (18 sts) 14. 3 sc, sc2tog, 6 sc, sc2tog, 3 sc (14 sts)
4. 6x (sc in next 2 st, 2sc inc) (24 sts) 15. 14 sc
5.-6. 24 sc (2 rounds) 16. 2x (5 sc, sc2tog) (12 sts)
7. 3x (sc in next 6 st, sc2tog) (21 sts) 17. 12 sc
8.-9. 21 sc (2 rounds) 18. 2 sc, sc2tog, 4 sc, sc2tog, 2 sc (10 sts)
10. 7 sc, 3x sc2tog, 8 sc (18 sts) 19.-20. 10 sc (2 rounds)

Fill the arms with stuffing material and sew or sc tog the 2 opposed st (sc 5) after it’s done break yarn and make
sure you leave enough yarn to attach the arms onto the body. Make another one. Sew the arms onto the body.

Ears
Outside ear (make 2 of them)
Make a loop with black.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts)
3. 6x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (18 sts)
4. 6x (sc in next st, sc2tog) (12 sts)

Sew or sc tog the 2 opposed st (slst 6) after it’s done


break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to
attach the ears onto the head.

Inside ear (make 2 of them)


Make a loop with pink.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
Break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to attach the pieces in the ears. Place the ears between round
6 and 11 of the head.

Scarf (knitting)
Use 3,0 mm (US 2 1⁄2) needles.
Count on 5 sts on 3,0 mm (US 2 1⁄2) needles.
1. row p first row (WS) – turn
2. row k next row (RS) – turn
Repeat in stockinette stitch until scarf measures 30 cm. Bind off with RS facing and break yarn.
