Materials
- 2,5 mm (US 1 ½) hook
- 4 different yarns calling for 2,5 mm (US 1 ½) hook
- stuffing
- 2 safety eyes 6 mm
- white ribbon and a cat bell (10 mm)

MINI Sheep Mollie turns out at a size of 11 cm with the yarn I used (sockyarn). If you are choose other
yarn with smaller ore bigger gauge the dolls measurements will change. So you have to correct the
eyes-size.

Yarns
I used the following yarns:

White for the head, ears, arms and legs,


Regia Uni 4-ply, color: 2080 (+/- 10 gr)
Sand for the head and body,
Regia Uni 4-ply, color: 17 (+/- 20 gr)
Brown for the hooves,
Regia Uni 4-ply, color: 2140
Pink for the ears,
My First Regia 4-ply, color: 1035

Abbreviations

st(s) = stitch(es) tc = triple crochet


ch = chain 2sc inc = 2 sc in indicated stich (increase)
slst = slipstitch 2dc inc = 2 dc in indicated stich (increase)
sc = single crochet 2hdc inc = 2 hdc in indicated stich (increase)
hdc = half double crochet pc = popcornstitch
dc = double crochet sc2tog = sc next 2 stitches together(decrease)
Popcornstitch: work 4 dc all into the same stitch, leaving the last loop unworked on the hook each time. When you’ve got 5
loops on the hook, yarn over and pull trough all 5 sts.

Head
Make a loop with white.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts)
3. 6x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (18 sts)
4. 18 sc
5. 6x (1 sc, 2sc inc, 1 sc) (24 sts)
6.-7. 24 sc (2 rounds)
8. 6x (sc in next 3 st, 2sc inc) (30 sts)
9.-10. 30 sc (2 rounds) Place safety eyes between round 8 and 9 with 7
Change color and continue with zandkleur. Work sc between.
1 ch and turn work around. Proceed with the 15. pc, hdc (15x)
inside of your work to you (see picture). 16. 10x (sc in next st, sc2tog) (20 sts)
11. pc, hdc (15x) 17. pc, hdc (10x)
12. 6x (sc in next 4 st, 2sc inc) (36 sts) Fill the head with stuffing material.
13. pc, hdc (18x) 18. 10x sc2tog (10 sts)
14. 6x (sc in next 4 st, sc2tog) (30 sts) 19. pc, hdc (leave 8 sts unworked)
Break yarn and fasten off.

For a sweet look, you can make the


eyes slightly closer to each other with
a long piece of white yarn. Insert the
needle into the neck to the 1st eye
and then go to the other one. Repeat
several times and pull between the
wire lightly. Fasten off.

Embroider with brown yarn a nose


and mouth. Apply some brush on the
cheeks.

Body
Make a loop with sand.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. pop + hdc in next sc (6x) (12 sts)
3. 2 sc in each st around (24 sts)
4. pc, hdc (12x)
5. 2x (sc in next 10 st, 2sc inc) (26 sts)
6. pc, hdc (13x)
7. 26 sc
8. pc, hdc (13x)
9. 2x (sc in next 10 st, sc2tog) (24 sts) 13. 3x (sc in next 5 st, sc2tog) (18 sts)
10. pc, hdc (12x) 14. pc, hdc (9x)
11. 3x (sc in next 6 st, sc2tog) (21 sts) 15. 6x (sc in next 4 st, sc2tog) (15 sts)
12. pc, hdc (10x), pc 16. pc, hdc (7x), hdc

Close with a slst. Break yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn to sew the head onto the body. Fill with
stuffing material.

Legs
Make a loop with brown.

Round:
1. 5 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop.
2. 2 sc in each st around (10 sts)
3. 5x (sc in next st, 2sc inc) (15 sts)
4.-6. 15 sc (3 rounds)
Change color and continue with white.
7. 15 sc
8. sc2tog, 13 sc (14 sts)
9. 14 sc
10. sc2tog, 12 sc (13 sts)
11. 13 sc
12. sc2tog, 11 sc (12 sts)
13. sc2tog, 10 sc (11 sts)
14. sc2tog, 9 sc (10 sts)
15. 10 sc

After stuffing the leg sew or sc tog the 2 opposed st (sc 5) after it’s done cut the yarn while you ensure to leave
enough yarn to sew the legs onto the body. Make another one. Place the legs between round 2 and 3 of the body
(see photo for reference).
Arms
Make a loop with brown.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop 14. sc2tog, 8 sc (9 sts)
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts) 15.-16. 9 sc (2 rounds)
3.-5. 12 sc (3 rounds) Change color and continue with sand.
Change color and continue with white. Work 1 ch and turn work around. Proceed with
6.-7. 12 sc (2 rounds) the inside of your work to you.
8. sc2tog, 10 sc (11 sts) 17. pc, hdc (4x), hdc
9.-10. 11 sc (2 rounds) 18. 9 sc
11. sc2tog, 9 sc (10 sts) 19. pc, hdc (4x), hdc
12.-13. 10 sc (2 rounds)

Fill the arms with stuffing material and sew or sc tog the 2 opposed st (sc 4) after it’s done break yarn and make
sure you leave enough yarn to attach the arms onto the body. Make another one.
Hooves
Fix a long piece of brown yarn to the sole of the foot/arm (row 1). Then insert the needle through the top of the
foot/arm (row 6/5) back and pull it tight. Repeat this and fasten off.

Ears
Inside ear (make 2 of them)
Make a loop with pink
Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2. 2 sc in each st around (12 sts)
3. 2x (1 sc, 2sc inc), 1 hdc, 2st inc,
1 hdc, 2sc inc, 2x (1 sc, 2sc inc)
Break yarn.

Outside ear (make 2 of them)


Make a loop with white.

Use the instructions above to make a similar piece


with white yarn, but this time: DON’T BREAK YARN.
To connect the both pieces turn wrong sides together
and work the following round:
Start in the 3th sc of the pink piece (picture 1) and
work: 7 sc, 2x (2sc inc), 9 sc.
From here: sc the 2 opposed st together (3 sc)
(picture 3). Place the ears between round 12 and 13
of the head.

Tail
Make a loop with sand.

Round:
1. 6 sc in the yarn loop and tighten the loop
2.-4. 6 sc (3 rounds)
Sew or sc tog the 2 opposed st (sc 3) after it’s
done break yarn and make sure you leave
enough yarn to attach the tail onto the body.
Place the tail at round 5 of the body.
