Materials
- crochet hook 2,5 mm
- knitting needle 3 mm
- 4 colors of yarn at own choice
- stuffing
- safety eyes 7 mm
When using the suggested yarn (sock wool), My Little Panda will be sitting about 18 cm tall.
When working with other yarn, the dimensions may scary. Adjust the size of your safety eyes when
needed.
Yarn
I used the following yarns:
White for head and body,
Regia Uni 4-thread, color 2080 (+/- 40 gr)
Black for arms, legs, ears and eye spots,
Regia Tweed 4-thread, color 98 (+/- 40 gr)
Pink for ears and scarf,
Regia Melange 4-thread, color 2242
Light grey for foot soles,
Regia Uni 4-thread, color 2070
Abbreviations
ch = chain hdc = half double crochet
ss = slip stitch dc = double crochet

Finish off but leave a long tail to sew to the head. Stuff lightly and position between rounds 20 and 29.
Make sure the snout is positioned at his widest to the head. Stuff some more and sew to the head, stitch
by stitch.

Eye patches
Round:
1. 6 sc in the ring
2. 4 sc in the first stitch, 2 sc, (12 sc)
4 sc in the next stitch, 2 sc
3. 1 sc, (1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc) in the next (16 sc)
stitch, 7 sc, (1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 hdc) in
the next stitch, 2 sc
Finish off, but leave a long tail to sew to the head. Position the patches against the snout, leaving 5 sc in
between (see picture). After sewing the patches to the head, remove the stuffing out of the head. Now
you can insert the safety eyes.

Stuff the leg some more, finish off and close the gap by weaving your yarn through the 6 stitches and pull
tight. Make a decent knot. Make another one.
Attach the legs to the body. Use a long piece of yarn, insert through the top of the legs (between rounds
4 and 5, counting from the top). Pull through the body (between rounds 13 and 14) and through the
second leg (see picture). Continue in the same way, back through the body and legs. Repeat 1 more
time. Pull the thread gently from time to time. When finished secure the thread well. This way the legs are
still moveable.

Foot sole

Skip the last 3 sc, this way the hand will lean forward.
Close the arm, by folding it double and crochet through both layers with 7 sc. Finish off, but leave a long
tail to sew to the body. Make a second one. Sew the arms to the sides of the body, 2 rounds below the
head.
Ears

Knitting the scarf.
As a finishing touch, apply some rouge to the cheeks and embroider a little black nose and mouth to the
snout.
