● General information :
The material I used:
Yarn weight : 360 meters / 100 grams ( 393.7 yards / 100 grams).
Hook size : 2.25 mm hook.
Final size of the mandala : approximately 30 cm (11.8 ich) in width.

Obviously you don’t have to limit yourself with these numbers, you can work with your
preferable yarn weight and the corresponding hook size. The final size of the mandala will
differ according to the yarn weight and hook size you use.
● Notes:
-After round 2, I changed the color every single round.
-The first dc of the round is either a standing dc or a ch-3 ( work with what you
prefer), in this pattern I simply refer to it as a dc. Same applies to the first hdc of
the round (either a standing hdc or a ch-2) and sc (either a standing sc or a ch-1, sc in
the same st).
-when the directions say :” start in the first st of the last round “, you can start in the
first st or in any similar st of any repeat of the same round.
● Directions :
To start, chain-4 and slip stitch in the first chain to make a ring (or start with a magical
ring if that is what you prefer). (0.a).

Round 1 :
Chain 3 ( this will count as the first dc). Make another 7 dcs in the chain-4 ring. Close
the round with a sl st in the third chain of the chain-3. (1.a).

Round 2 :
Chain 3. Make a dc in the same st. Make 2 dcs in each of the following 7 sts. Close
the round with a sl st in the third chain of the chain-3. (2.a)

Round 3 :
Make a 5-dcs-pc in any st.* Chain 5. Skip the next st. Make another 5-dcs-pc in the

Round 7 :
Start in the first ch-2 sp from round 6 ; make 3 scs in this sp.* Skip the cluster. Make
3 scs in next ch-2 sp. (7.a). In the next two dcs we are going to make 4-dcs cluster,
making each two legs of the cluster in one st : (yarn over, insert the hook in the first
dc, yarn over, pull up a loop,(7.b), yarn over and pull through only two loops. (7.c).
Yarn over again, insert the hook in the same st, yarn over, pull up the loop, (7.d), yarn
over and pull through only two loops. (7.e). Yarn over again, insert the hook in the
next st, yarn over, pull up a loop, (7.f), yarn over and pull through only two loops.
(7.g). Yarn over again, insert the hook in the same st, yarn over, pull up a loop, (7.h),

signaled in (8.e). In (8.f) see how the hook is inserted in the dc to make the sc). Make
another dc in the same ch-4 space. Skip the cluster. Make a hdc in the first sc after
the cluster. Make a Sc in each of the following 4 sts. Make a hdc in the last sc before
