Meat pie Review
Individually complete an evaluation report in which you critically reflect on decisions made in action
plan, your performance in the practical application, the processes involved in the practical application
and the outcomes. In your evaluation report, formulate conclusions and recommend possible
improvements.
Decision: A few people chopped and grated the vegetables one person stirred and seasoned the minced
beef later added the vegetables to the nearly prepared minced beef after 2 people molded the pastry to
ensure that the filling will be able to fill the pastry mold 1 person scoops the meat mixture into the
pastry container to the brim lastly cover and mold the top with pastry sheets.
Evaluation of decision:
Looking back at the meat pies now I am certain that the decisions have been made
successfully by us that were making the meat pie and working together.
What planning and preparation did you do (or lack of) and how did this affect the practical and
the final product? (Use examples and explain)
Example 1) the cake was cooked well X- NOT ENOUGH DETAIL OR LINK TO YOUR PLANNING
Example 2) During a trail at home it was found the cake was undercooked in the 20 minutes
that recipe suggested. Therefore, during the practical the cake was cooked for 25 minutes and
came out well cooked, moist, and spongy due to the extra time in the oven.
