Game Format 5 vs 5

Game Rule: 1. At one time, there can only be 5 players from each team
on court

2. Players may only move while dribbling the ball and can
only take 2 steps without dribbling, otherwise a travel is
called and there will be a change in possession

3. Games start with a jump ball where one member from

each team jumps for the ball at the half court line to
determine which team gains possession of the ball.

4. Scoring inside the 3-point line awards 2 points while

scoring outside the 3-point line awards 3 points

5. Team that scores the most points wins

6. No doubling (dribbling, picking up the ball, then dribbling

again)

7. Fouls called while player is shooting will results in free

throws, where players will stand at the free throw line to
shoot an uncontested shot worth 1 point.

8. When a foul is called while a player is shooting and

scores the point, only one free throw will be given.

9. When a foul is called while a player is shooting and does

not score the point, he will be given two or three free
throws depending on whether he is within or outside the
three point line.

10. When the last free throw is shot and misses, players
from both teams can attempt to get the rebound

11. Once a ball goes out of bounds, the team whose players
did not last touch the ball will gain possession

12. No backcourt — once offensive team brings the ball

beyond the half court line, the ball cannot cross the line
again

13. When screening the opponent (using the body to block a

person from moving in that direction), feet have to be
planted on the ground if not a foul will be called.
