2. Introduction

For safe approach to ABSF 30/35,138/139,233/235, a Platform Debris Survey was

conducted to provide 200m around the platform on 17 June 2024 by survey vessel
BGMS Mighty. Data was collected by the R2sonic MBES and the Mosaic data was
conducted by Klein 4900 side scan sonar.

3. Survey Results

The results and the data examples presented in the following sections are based on the
observations made at the time of the survey and intended to serve as a comprehensive
view of the seabed in the immediate vicinity of a specific platform to ensure safe
operations of Jack-Up Rigs and barges around that platform.

3.1 All the water depths referred to within this report were reduced to LAT by using
Saudi Aramco predicted tidal data of (ABSF GOSP) tide gauge station.

• Water depth at Platform reference point: 19.4m

• Minimum water depth: 16.6m (306m @ 207° from Platform’s reference point)

• Maximum water depth: 21.9m (316m @ 017° from Platform’s reference point)

3.2 Seafloor morphology.

Bathymetric data within the survey area revealed uneven seabed that is dominated by
caprocks. General water depths in the area is sloping down from southwest to
northeast.

Fishtraps and tyres are not reported since they are considered a transient features and their
positions are deemed temporary. Abandoned fish traps may pose a low risk during construction
activities
