Internship

Student will be sent to industrial units and other institutes for educational
training during the first and second semester. The objective is to provide an
opportunity to stay in industrial environment and to understand the industrial
operations, instruments, pilot scale experiments and other details. Faculty
members will be deputed to accompany the students.

The students will maintain a daily diary for recording their observations
and technical data etc. At the end of the visit each student will independently
submit a detailed report giving industrial process flow sheets, equipment’s
sketches and other relevant data of the industry visited.

Dissertation:

The dissertation will be assigned to the participants after introduction of basic

subjects to them, i.e. at the end 1st semester so that they can get sufficient
time to work on the assigned subject during 2nd semester and in last two
months assigned after 2nd semester. The allotment will be made via discussion
with them as per their area of intrest and subject of future potential after
discussion with course Director
