the third of the 4 siblings. Her family was very supportive of her passion and her
parents did everything they could to make Millie’s dream come true.
Before becoming known around the world for her role as Eleven in the hit Netflix
series Stranger Things, Millie was a normal kid. Well, as normal as anyone who is
trying to break into the acting world would be. The London native moved with her
parents at the age of eight after she made it known that she wanted to pursue a
career in acting.
Brown made her acting debut in the fantasy-drama series Once Upon a Time in
Wonderland - a spin-off of fairytale reboot Once Upon a Time - on American
channel ABC in 2013.In 2016, Brown was cast to play Eleven in the Netflix
science fiction horror series Stranger Things. She was only 12 when the first
season of Stranger Things debuted on Netflix in 2016, introducing the world to
Eleven and her mysterious powers for the first time.

Millie has donated to UNICEF during COVID-19 to support the children in

staff cope with the extra demands of Covid-19. She also supported UNICEF’s

Although many people don’t know it, Millie had partial hearing loss. She
was deaf in one ear and it was hard for her to hear things sometimes. She used to
struggle with anxiety because people bullied her online. She was also frustrated by
the fact that people sexualized her when she was just a teenager. She also had to
deal with rude and obsessed fans.
Despite all those tragic events, she is looking forward to her bright future.
