Sub: Periodical Services to Estate Quarters and Buildings at Cordite

Factory Aruvankadu – Phase –I – Reg.
Ref: CA No. 13300/EO/02/202425 Dt. 04.05.2024

The contract for the above subject work has been awarded to M/s. Lakshmi
Builders, Chennai vide Contract agreement cited at reference.
The following quarters / buildings are covered in the above periodical services work:-

Apart from the above, plastering (in Cement mortar 1:4) to existing damaged wall and
ceiling area also incorporated in the contract. Before start of the painting works, damaged
walls and ceiling will be plastered by the contractor.
It is also stated that existing finishing in many of the Type-I and Type-II are only
White wash and now the same is going to be changed to Distemper – 02 Coats and the work
will take minimum 03 days. (1st Day: First coat Distemper for wall and ceiling / 2nd day:
Second Coat Distemper for wall and ceiling / 3rd Day: Painting on Wood and Steel Door &
Windows).
Intimation will be given to the occupants of quarters at least 03 days in advance
before start of the work. However, any occupant wants to carry out the work on specific
dates may contact the Site in Charge. Occupants have to clear/shift the house hold items to
facilitate for carrying out the work, please.
The following officers have been nominated for the subject work:-

2. Engineer – in-Charge : Shri. E.V.Vinod, JWM(SG) / CW
3. Technical Examiner : Shri. T.L.V.S. Sankar, DGM
In case of any clarifications, the occupants of quarters may contact the Site in charge
& Engineer-in-charge, please.
