CONSERVATION MEDICINE AND A NEW AGENDA FOR

EMERGING DISEASES

SUMMARY

This article deals with diseases that are a threat and danger to health in recent
years. This article also shows recent changes and how far they were, more or
less 75% are transmitted between animals and humans.

To be able to fight is very important at the national and global level, but it is
difficult because we do not know what is to come.

These diseases, such as the Ebola virus or pandemic influenza, tell us that they
can have very serious consequences due to their high danger and the lack of
effective vaccines. Also in this article it gives us details of its origin because it is
often related to environmental changes, such as deforestation.

Research on EID is ongoing, but predicting the emergence of new pathogens is

very complicated because of the drivers, which act through poorly understood
pathways. They say that diseases have been identified and are being
discovered and are emerging in marine fauna, domestic animals and plants.

Studying cases, such as amphibian chytridiomycosis, is more the importance of

interdisciplinary approaches to understand underlying causes and develop risk
analyzes for prevention and control. In summary, addressing EIDs requires a
collaborative, multidisciplinary effort to anticipate and prevent public health
threats.
