DIRECTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
Before the stipulated guidelines on directions to candidates, the
Board would like to warn some unserious candidates who don’t
respect Mock Examinations and misbehave towards the invigilators
and/or school authorities.
All candidates are hereby advised to take this examination very
seriously as it prepares you for the forthcoming UNEB
Examinations due October / November 2024 as may be timetabled.
1. Ease yourself before entering the examination room/hall. No
candidate will be allowed to leave the examination room/ hall
before the end of the examination time,
2. Be at the examination room/ hall at least 30 minutes before
the start of the examination ready to be identified and
checked. Any candidate who comes more than 15 minutes late
from the start of an examination will not be allowed to sit the
examination.
3. Present yourself at the entrance to the examination hall for
checking by the chief invigilator/invigilators. They have been
instructed to check you thoroughly, including your pockets,
shoes and body.
4. Do not indulge in any form of examination malpractices. This
may have disciplinary action against you and/or your school.
5. At the start of each examination, make sure the question paper
corresponds to the one indicated on the timetable. Failure to
note this may cause examination leakage.
6. Sit only for the examination papers you have registered for.
7. No mobile phones are allowed in or around the examination
room and if found, shall be confiscated without return.
8. Sharing of calculators, mathematical sets, rulers, pens, pencils,
answers, etc. is not permitted during the examination.
GLORISO Exams Board (GEB) – Kampala reserves the right to
cancel membership of any school which does not follow this
timetable. Otherwise the committee wishes you success in your
examination.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The purpose of this examination is to assess the candidates’ level of
achievement. It is not an end itself but will help to prepare the candidates
for their forthcoming final UNEB examinations. Candidates should
therefore approach the examination without panic.
1. TIME ALLOWED FOR QUESTION PAPER:
The time allowed for each paper is shown against the name of the
paper and NO EXTRA TIME IS TO BE ALLOWED. In case of
any discrepancy, the time stated on the question paper must be taken
as correct. Any time allocated for reading through questions,
studying maps, apparatus, etc. is included in the total time shown
except when special paper instructions indicate otherwise.
Candidates with special needs will be allowed 45 extra minutes.
2. Papers included in the same time should begin at the same time
except when a candidate is offering two papers in the same period,
the second paper should be timed to follow the first after a reasonable
interval, but not exceeding 20 minutes.
3. Day time periods should be provided for ART PAPERS.
4. The Chief Invigilator must begin the morning session at 9:00 am
and afternoon at 2:00 pm. PLEASE OBSERVE THESE TIMES
FOR STARTING THE EXAMINATIONS.
5. EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE. Any candidate caught
involving himself/herself in any form of malpractice should be
barred from sitting any further Mock Examinations. This mock is to
prepare all the candidates for the forthcoming UNEB Examinations.
6. * 612/2 & 3 to be issued at 12.00 noon. In 840/2 Computer Studies,
the 2 ½ hours include the time for printing out the candidate’s
work. No further printing shall be done after the stipulated time.
