Gauge & Measurements

10.5 sts by 21 rows across 2x2 inches in seed stitch
Finished headband measurements: 4 x 19 inches (after blocking, but before sewing ends
together)

Stitch Notes

CF2 (Cable Front 2)

Slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold cable needle in front, K2 sts, K2 from cable needle

3RPC (Right Purl Cable)

Slip 1 st to cable needle, hold cable needle in back, K2, P st from cable needle

3LPC (Left Purl Cable)

Slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold cable needle in front, P1, K2 from cable needle

5LPC (5-Stitch Left Purl Cable)

Slip 3 sts to cable needle, hold cable needle in front, K2, slip purl stitch from cable needle to
left-hand needle, P1, K2 sts from cable needle

Instructions
CO 31 sts using the long tail cast on.

Setup Row - Knit all sts

Begin chart, noting that all RS rows are read right-to-left, and all WS rows are read left-to-right. Work
the chart 4 times total, you should end on a WS row. (Written instructions are also included below
the chart, if this is your preferred working method).

Next Row - Knit all sts as you bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing ends together.

Steam block headband to specified measurements.

Put the two short ends together, and use the Mattress Stitch (using the knit stitches from the
setup row and bind off row, respectively).

Weave in ends. Enjoy!
