What does the writer’s doll look like?
My Doll
I have a panda doll. This is my favorite one. That was my birthday present last year. This is a
large panda doll with white and black colour. It has a very cute and soft face.
This panda doll is unique because something inside of the stomach is not foam but it’s grains so
it is fun when holding it, and I hope this doll is not broken quickly and always with me.
I always wash it in a good laundry because I’m afraid if it is broken. I put aside money pocket for
my the doll needs, from here I learn to save.
I hope that every birthday, the doll grows bigger to fit my size. I really thank my parents for
giving a panda doll that finally became something very important. I like to put it on the bed. Every
day I play with it. Even I always hug him when I sleep.

Thomas Alfa Edison was born on 11th February 1847 and died on 18th October 1931. He
was an American inventor and businessman. He invented phonograph, the motion picture
camera, and electric light bulb. He held 1,093 patents in the US as well as in other countries.
He was born in Ohio but grew up in Michigan. He was the seventh and the youngest child in
his family. Edison only spent three months at school before being educated by his mother at
home. During his childhood he suffered from scarlet fever and left him with a hearing loss.
As a child, Edison earned money by selling candy and newspaper to passengers on the
trains. His father trained him as a telegraph operator. No wonder some of Edison’s earliest
inventions were related to telegraph. In 1887 he invented the phonograph and in 1878
travelled to Washington to demonstrate it to the president of the National Academy Of
Science, Congressmen and President Rutherford Hayes. In 1877-1878 he invented the
carbon microphone that remained in use until 1980s. This invention was followed by other

that they didn't have anything except a cow. When the cow had grown too old, his mother sent Jack to
the market to sell it. On the way to the market, Jack met a butcher who had some beautiful beans in his
hand. The butcher told the boy that the beans were of great value and persuaded the silly lad to sell the
cow.
Jack brought them happily. When he told his mother about this, his mother became so angry that
she threw the beans out of the window.
When Jack woke up in the morning, he felt the sun shining into a part of his room, but all the rest
was quite dark and shady.
So, he jumped to the window. What did he see? The beanstalk grew up quite close past Jack’s
window. He opened the window and jumped to the beanstalk which ran up just like a big ladder.
He climbed ….. and climbed till at last he reached the sky. While looking around, he saw a very huge
castle. He was very amazed. Then Jacked walked along the path leading to the castle. There was a big
tall woman on the doorstep. Jack greeted her and asked for the giantess’ mercy to give him breakfast,
because he felt very hungry. Although the giantess grumbled at first, finally she gave Jack a hunk of
bread and cheese and a jug of milk.
Jack hadn't finished when the whole house began to tremble with the noise from someone’s

I Believe I Can Fly
(by R. Kelly)
I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms
If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it
I believe I can fly
I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day (Night and day)
Spread my wings and fly away
I believe I can soar
I see me running through that open door
I believe I can fly
