Thomas Alfa Edison was born on 11th February 1847 and died on 18th October 1931. He
was an American inventor and businessman. He invented phonograph, the motion picture

He was born in Ohio but grew up in Michigan. He was the seventh and the youngest child in
his family. Edison only spent three months at school before being educated by his mother at

Next, I ran out of the house trying to get the 9:30 bus, but of course I missed it. I
wanted to take a taxi, but I didn’t have enough money.
Finally, I walked three miles away to my school only to discover that it was Sunday! I
hope I will never have a day as the one I had yesterday.

The largest kangaroos are the Great Grey Kangaroo and the Red Kangaroo. Adult grows to
a length of 1.60 metres and weighs over 90 kilos.

the front of her body. A baby kangaroo is very tiny when it is born, and it crawls at once into
this pouch where it spends its first five months of life.
