STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I come from a town named Chakradharpur, which is a place that resides nearby to Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
where I was born and completed my schooling at SE Railway M.H.S school. Over there I have learned the
outcome of discipline, and determination, which I believe have turned me into the person today I am. Right
from the very beginning, I was very keen enthusiastic, passionate, and very determined to do my studies for
which I was awarded with proficiency award for 3 consecutive years. I was also awarded by the
HINDUSTAN in HINDUSTAN OLYMPIAD held in 2015-16. I was awarded with Certificate of Excellence
by the VIGNAN PRATIBHA PURASKAR in the year 2014. I believe challenges enhance your skills and
make you glorify and provide an opportunity to do better in life and to overcome any situation. Now,
coming to the point, for me the toughest challenge was when I came to a whole different city to pursue my
higher secondary education (+2) in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, where I experience linguistic problems and
complexities. As I was away from home, therefore, i have to stay in a hostel but the linguistic conflict or
barrier was prevailing over there where students who were chattering and conversing in their own local
language where i was unable to indulge in any conversation. This, in turn, makes me detached and
disassociate from them, and thus I started to stay alone which not only elevate my level of stress but also
impede my sleep schedule and thus indirectly harm my body. I have lost social connectivity with people and
thus lack encouragement and attain a low self-esteem. I thereby took it as a challenge and try to overcome
the situation attaining trust and confidence in myself and thereby I taking this positive attitude I somehow
managed to learn the language which makes me to interact with students, gain trust and confidence,
experience openness, gain independence and understand the culture in a better way. After that I realized that
tough and easy somehow depend on our mindset, During this time I think positively that time will never
come to the toughest challenge.

My ambition is to have a significant impact in the fast-paced ever changing market as well as the industry
and thus help my organization in development and profitability. MBA from a reputed institution such as
NMIMS will provide me with the knowledge of analytical skills, leadership skills, long-term strategic skills,
and networking which not help me not only to benefit the business but also to the society as a whole. I am
confident that the course will provide with a powerful learning experience and thus it will put all my
theoretical experience to a practical real-world environment. I also believe that MBA will assist me in
developing skills that will benefit and emphasize in both business and professional growth and development.
This comprehensive course will inculcate leadership qualities in me wherein i will be provided with ample
opportunity to strengthen managerial skills and administrative skills and thus help me contribute to the
company as a whole. An educational institution is recognized and judged on the basis of infrastructure,

school. I personally wanted to be a part of NMIMS because I always wanted to learn networking so that I
can develop a mutually beneficial relationship or to access and share information and the more networking I
do the better it is as it may help me in my future business venture. Unlike other institute, NMIMS focuses on
giving appropriate knowledge that is required for us to achieve heights and become more confident in the
field of business management.

Top of it I am very curious about the work stuff and eager to learn new ways and methods to do the given
work more efficiently and enthusiastically in the given period of time. Most importantly I have learned how
to keep work life and professional life separate rather than mixing up which would prevent any bad impact
in my professional career. I am always open to lear more and advancing my skill set. I have maintained
integrity and stayed calm even under stress. With this comes my solution-oriented self, regardless of how
big the problem is I am always keen to find the solution instead of giving up which gives me a feeling of
self-empowerment and self-motivated. But one of the things I wish I could do better is learning
organizational skills which would not only help me to ace work but also maintain a peace of mind during
work. I often tend to have a messy desk and thus organizing my thoughts become really hard. Another thing
which a always find lack on me is the time management skill. Although I always met my deadline, but I
always end up procrastinate and thus I end up working long hours. I decided that I need to deal on the issue
therefore I am working on project and time management wherein I would learn how to organize my days
and attack bigger projects in manageable chunks. I am pretty sure that the upcoming years will be productive
for me. I want to learn new skills and develop my knowledge in FRM, Derivatives and managerial
responsibilities. Besides, I have the potential to lead projects and thus NMIMS will uplift my knowledge
