6 Give detailed construction of the Smith chart with suit able diagrams.

7 Explain the working of the reflex klystron oscillator with suitable diagram.

5. A load impedance of Z=60-j80 2 is required to be matched to a 50 Q


coaxial line, byusing
short circuited stub of length '" located at a distance d' from the load. The wavelength of
operation is 1m. Design the single stub impedance matching system using Smith Chart. (10] CO1 L3

6 Give detailed construction of the Smith chart with suitable diagrams.
