A new fast food restaurant has been recently opened in
Dzivaresekwa. This food outlet seems to have attracted
many people in Dzivaresekwa and surrounding
areas.However, the business has brought with it some
benefits and problems.
THE CALA : The CALA has two separate parts A and B. You
need to complete both parts.
PART A

 Define the term sphere of influence.


 Design a questionnaire of not more than 10 questions
about the sphere of influence of the outlet.
 Describe how are you going to select customers for
interviews
 Describe problemsand you are likely to encounter in
carrying out your survey and suggest solutions to the
problems.
 In your research include interviews, record notes, use ICT
tools, take pictures and make recordings

PART B

 Using the information in part A, make an illustration or


diagramatic representation of the sphere of influence of the
outlet.
 Write notes to explain your illustration
