Halloween Pumpkin

This pattern is available only


in ENGLISH

This crochet pattern will help you make a crocheted amigurumi pumpkin with cute
ghosts .

This tutorial is easy to follow.


It includes 9 pages of descriptions of how to make a pumpkin, hat and ghosts,
and 30 step-by-step photos of the process.

Difficulty: medium, but you should know the basic stitches: single crochet,
double crochet, increase, decrease.

Please note that you can use yarn of any color.


The materials offered in this template will help you create a pumpkin and ghosts that
will be identical to the one shown in the photos.
If you decide to use the suggested materials and tools, your pumpkin with a hat will be
about 7.09 inches (18 cm) in height and the ghosts 1. 97 inches (5 cm) if made with
a 1.75 hook.

Yarn in the orange color № 83, the black color № 60, the brown color
№ 493, the light brown color № 571, the white color № 55
Alize Cotton Gold 330 m / 100 g
black fine thread
crochet hook - 1.75 mm or any type you prefer
safety eyes for the ghosts 6 mm size
plastic or cardboard
bead for the door 10 mm size
fiberfill
scissors
needle for embroidery and sewing pieces
pins for attaching details

Start crocheting with orange thread.

At this stage, you can cut out the base for the pumpkin from thin plastic

Start crocheting with brown thread.

Start crocheting with black thread.

Mouth

Start crocheting with black thread.


Make chain 26, start to crochet on the second
chain from the hook:
1. 1 sl st, 1 sc, 1 hdc, 19 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st (25)
Fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing.

Door

Start crocheting with light brown thread. Work in rows.


Make chain 19, start to crochet on the second chain from the hook:
1. 18 sc, ch 1
2-8. 18 sc, ch 1 (7 rounds)
Do not cut the thread, continue to sc around the door. Fasten off, leaving
a long thread for sewing. (photo 13)

Pumpkin design

Use pins to secure the eyes between the 25th to 34th Rounds, the nose
between the 21th to 27th Rounds, the mouth between the 15th to 20th
Rounds on the pumpkin and sew. (photo 14, 15)

Use pins to secure the door to the back of the pumpkin and sew it on.

Embroider the stitches on the door with black thread. (photo 17)
Sew a bead to the door to make a door handle. (photo 18, 19)

Embroider the spiderwebs with a black fine thread on the pumpkin.

Ghost

Start crocheting with white thread.


1. 6 sc in MR
2. 6 inc (12)
3. (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
4. (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)
5-15. 24 sc (11 rounds)
Place safety eyes between rounds 8th and 9th 25
with 4 sc between them.
16. BLO: (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18)
Fill in the ghost with fiberfill.
17. (1 sc, dec) * 6 (12)

Fasten off, sew the hole and hide the
yarn tail inside the ghost. (photo 25, 26)

Go back to the 16th round, continue to sc
on FLO using the white thread. (the tip of the hook is pointing down):

Hands (make 2)

Start crocheting with white thread.


1. 6 sc in MR
2-3. 6 sc (2 rounds)
Fasten off, leaving a long thread for sewing. (photo 28)
Sew the hands to the ghost between the 11th to 13th Rounds.
Embroider the mouth with a black fine thread. (photo 29,30)
