BARANGAY LOGO-MAKING CONTEST

Qualifications:

1. Participant must be a bona fide resident of Barangay, a native of the same, or a

person who’s family roots came therefrom.

2. He/She must be of any age.

3. He/She must have a passion and love for nationalism, patriotism and concern in
the community.

4. He/She must have the ability to draw whether amateur or professional.

5. He/She must have the capacity to create a piece of visual arts.

Pre-Contest Guidelines:

1. Interested qualified individuals shall approach officials of this local

government unit for the latter to facilitate such possible participant to be
included in the contest.

2. Participant shall fill-up the information sheet and the same shall be taken by
the committee in charge of this event.

3. Participant shall meet with the committee together with other participants for
orientation on 11 February 2014.

Contest Rules:

1. Participants shall be provided materials to be used during the contest proper,

to wit:
a. ½ Illustration Board
b. 1 Ruler
c. 2 pencils (sharpened)
d. 2 pentelpens (fine and broad)
e. 1 oil pastel/ crayons
2. Participants may bring any other art materials they may see fit to create their
piece.

 3. Participants shall draw their pieces in their respective materials provided in
Rule No. 1 and Rule No. 2.
4. Participant shall be given sufficient time as the committee may determine to
finish their respective pieces in the contest proper.
5. Participant shall create their contest piece depicting the rich history (legend),
culture and economy of Barangay Abilay with sense of patriotism.
6. Created logo shall be placed with Baybayin words equivalent

7. After the end of the allotted time the respective pieces shall be submitted to
the Chairman of the Committee and the judging will follow.
