public speaking and diplomacy, BDC aims to help the
participants acquire the essential 21st century skills
required for student and professional life.

At BDC we are excited to celebrate the art of debating
alongside you.
As a BDC alumnus, the debates club was life-defining for me. It
set the stage for life as an educationist for me.
My goal now is to empower young minds and let them find the
sculptures within stones in need of a little polish, a little
carving. They must be taught to master themselves.
They must be inspired to think bigger.
Sprinkle some empathy and you've got your leaders of
tomorrow. How can the world be a better place through some
magic? The right word at the right time can heal, soothe,
inspire, and stand up for what is right.
"Eloquence is nothing short of magic" - let's get that bunny out
of the hat, shall we?

Respected delegates, faculty advisors, and coaches
It is with great honour that I invite you all to attend the first and
legacy edition of BDC Model UN conference taking place from
the 24th to 26th of Feburary.
With the inaugural edition of BDCMUN this year we aim to set a
new precedent in our society, while providing young leaders a
healthy platform for debating and resolving major world issues
with their diplomatic skills. The conference provides a wide
range of global issues allowing delegates to engage in
important and thought provoking sessions about a variety of
agendas.

BDCMUN believes in promoting debate and diplomacy in

younger age groups and in order to accommodate them, we
have included a separate best delegation award for middle
school allowing them to compete with other delegations within
the same age bracket.

Our highly experienced team is making sure that this is an

engaging and exciting experience for all of you, while creating
an environment that fosters deeper understanding of the
United Nations proceedings and peacekeeping. We are
confident that this will be a memorable experience for
everyone, and I for one, cannot wait to welcome all of you.
