How do solar panels create electricity?

Photovoltaics (PV) is utilized in solar panels to generate electricity. The process goes as follows:

The PV cells in a solar panel absorb energy from the sun's rays as it beams on it. In reaction to an
internal electric field within the cell, this energy generates electrical charges that move, which results in
the flow of electricity.

What is solar power and what are its uses?

Solar power is the conversion of solar energy into thermal or electrical energy. Solar technology can
capture this energy for a multitude of uses and purposes, such as electricity generation, interior lighting,
and water heating for residential, commercial, and industrial use.

Why go solar?

The environment is benefited by solar energy, which produces clean, renewable energy from the sun.
Alternatives to fossil fuels lessen carbon footprint both nationally and internationally, lowering
greenhouse gas emissions globally. Therefore, It is well established that solar energy benefits the
environment.

Given that Egypt has all the necessary natural resources for success, the country's future for renewable
energy is far more promising than that of Europe. Egypt may only need 10 years to meet its energy
needs from renewable sources, according to Hanei al-Nuqrashy, a renowned energy expert from Egypt,
because of the following natural advantages:

Throughout the entire year, the sun shines every day.

Because the sun shines across Egypt, there is no need to create extensive networks or energy complexes
to supply electricity to consumers; instead, construct local units close to where it will be used.

Egypt has a competitive edge due to the untapped desert areas that are close to major demand centres.
