Dear diary,
What a busy day! I started with a presentation
for my history project, which I’ve been working
on for weeks. I think it went well, and I’m
crossing my fingers to be selected for the
national level history fair. After school, I had a
quick lunch before my football practice,
feeling already exhausted. Right after that, I
had my piano lesson, which I thoroughly
enjoyed. But there was no time to rest as I
then went to my drama club rehearsal. Amidst
all these activities, I nearly forgot about my
math homework, which I must remember to
complete tomorrow.
Love,
Mizie

Based on the diary entry, which activity did Mizie had fun doing?
A Drama club rehearsal
B Piano lesson
C Football practice

Questions 15 to 20
Read the texts about three different people and their situations. For each question, choose the
correct answer (A, B or C) which fits the description. Mark the correct answer A,B or C on your
answer sheet.

My friend Lily and I were on our way home from school. We suddenly
heard a loud crash. Our car had been hit from behind by another car. We
were bumped forward but luckily our seatbelts kept us safe. My mother
Aleen quickly checked to see if we were okay before calling 999. I noticed the
driver of the other car was injured and unable to get out. Mother told us to
stay in the car and she went to check on the driver. Ambulance arrived
swiftly helping the injured driver. The experience was frightening but it
reminded us of the importance of wearing seatbelts and staying calm
during an emergency.

Yesterday, heavy rain started in the afternoon and didn't stop. By

evening, the streets around our house were flooded. Water started
entering into our living room. My brother and I had to help our parents
move furniture and important things to the first floor. We were all scared
Sabrina as we watched the water level rise but we worked together to stay safe.
The fire department came and helped us evacuate to a nearby shelter
where we stayed until the water receded. It was a challenging
experience but it taught us the importance of being prepared for
emergencies.

This morning, while we were getting ready for school, I smelled smoke.
My little sister noticed flames coming from the kitchen. We immediately
remembered our fire safety drills from school. I quickly grabbed my
Henry sister's hand and we both ran outside. We called for our parents. Dad
used the fire extinguisher while Mum called the fire department. The fire
was put out quickly but it was a terrifying experience. We were all shaken
but thankfully no one was hurt. It reminded us how important it is to stay
calm and act fast during an emergency.
