5.3 Conclusion
The problem of religious crisis exists in Kambi community. It is believed that religious conflicts
can be prevented, avoided, controlled and managed. As such, the basic interest of this work is on
religious crisis and its impact on churches. This will better educate churches, church leaders, and
Christians to device ways of ensuring their safety and fostering peaceful coexistence with
adherents of other faiths in their environment. It also enhances national security and development
in Nigeria. It is of great importance now than ever to source for viable and lasting solutions to
other faiths in Nigeria. The recurrent religious crises adherents of Christianity and Islam in
Nigeria have impacted negatively on the economic, social and political spheres of the Nigerian
church and country at large. In fact, incessant conflicts such as the religious-motivated war of
Boko Haram terrorists and Islamic State of West-African Province (ISWAP) on Christians, the
church and Nigeria have to a large extent ridiculed Nigeria in the comity of nations, as their
activities drive away individual and corporate investors as well as tourists for security reasons.
The responsibility of Government at all levels to ensure the security of lives and properties
cannot be underrated. There is an urgent need for the government to show willingness to enforce
security, either by effective use of the personnel available, recruitment of new hands, or re-
organization of the leadership of the various security outfits for effective and efficient impact.
