Course Description The Bachelor of Public Administration program equips students with essential skills in public governance, policy analysis, and organizational
management. Students develop expertise in public finance, administrative law, ethics, and research methods. Graduates pursue careers as
public administrators, policy analysts, program managers, and more in government and non-profit sectors.

Course Objectives The course aims to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the operations of local
governments.
- It aims to help students understand, appreciate, and comprehend the structure and process of regional administration.
- The course provides a comprehensive overview of local governance in the contemporary setting.
- It aims to inculcate the autonomy of local government units in the Philippines, as enshrined in the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
- Students will be introduced to the salient provisions of Republic Act 7160, also known as the Local Government Code of 1991,
which is the main source of information on local governance.

2. At the end of the semester, the student receives a percentage grade, which is thirty percent (50%) of the Midterm Grade
