Writing exercise : Describing my city and my house.

Hi, my name is Amália and I live in Recife. Recife is a city in Pernambuco, and there
are some interesting places. I like to go to the library and to the Park. In here, there
are hospitals, bookstores, houses, supermarkets and many other places. My house is
on the first floor, and my favorite room is my bedroom because I love to sleep. In my
bedroom there is a bed, a desk, a chair, a bookshelf and a wardrobe. There isn’t a
fridge and there isn’t a cooker in my bedroom.

Hi, my name is Jaqueline and I live in Olinda. Olinda is a city in Pernambuco and has
many beautiful places. I like going to the beach and to the movies. Here there are
some tourist places and lots of entertainment during the carnival. My house is under
renovation, and my favorite room is my bedroom because I love sleeping and
relaxing. In my room there is a bed, a desk, a chair, a mirror and a wardrobe. There is
no television or radio in my room. I spend many hours in the room studying or
sleeping.
