Admit Card or permitted inadvertently/ based on false information provided by him/ her,
candidature will be cancelled at any time, as and when such a case is detected and no
further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

PLEASE READ FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

1. Any discrepancy regarding the candidate’s particulars should be referred to the Centre Coordinator.
2. This admit card must be presented for verification with one colour photograph along with original (not
photocopy or scanned copy) valid Photo Identity Card as stipulated at Para 17 of notification published
in Employment News dated 13-19 May 23 (i.e. Aadhaar card with a photograph/PAN
Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Voter’s ID Card).
3. Candidates must report at the examination centre on scheduled time and he/she will not be permitted to
leave the examination hall before the end of the examination. Candidate shall have to undergo the
process of ‘FRISKING’ before they enter the examination centre.
4. Candidates will be permitted to appear for the examination only after their credentials are verified by
centre officials. Candidate will be permitted to occupy their allotted seats once Aadhaar
verification/Biometric registration process is complete for him/her, seat will be allotted to him/her and a
verified stamp is affixed on their admit card.
5. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN EXAMINATION CENTRE/SHIFT WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES.
6. Candidates are advised to locate the examination centre and its accessibility at least a day before the
examination, so that they can reach the centre on time for the examination.
7. Possession of books, notes, bits of papers, pen, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, pencil, scale, log table,
writing pad, eraser, cardboard, electronics devices, watch/wrist watch, wallet, goggles, handbags, mobile
phones, earphones, microphones, camera, headphones, pen-drives, pager, Bluetooth device calculator,
debit/credit card, fitness band, electronic pen/scanners, water bottle, food & beverage (alcoholic or non-
alcoholic), arms/weapon, hair pins/clips, jewelry/ornaments etc and any objectionable items is strictly
prohibited in the examination premises and it will be treated as use of unfair means. In case of non-
compliance, his /her candidature shall be cancelled and a suitable legal action in addition, may also be
initiated. There is no safekeeping or locker arrangement for candidate’s belongings. Indian Navy will not
be responsible for its safe custody.
8. If candidates are found to indulge at any stage in any of the malpractices listed at Para 24 of the
notification published in Employment News dated 13-19 May 23, during the conduct of examination,
their candidature for this examination will be cancelled and they will be debarred from the
examinations.
9. Guidelines promulgated by GOI for Persons with Benchmark disability (PwBD) will be applicable for
the examination.
a. Visually impaired/ Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedically handicapped candidates who has a locomotor
disability wherein the dominant writing extremity is affected to the extent of slowing down the
performance of the candidate (such deficiency to be indicated in the medical certificate submitted
by the candidate) will be allowed compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour in the examination.
Question papers will not be provided in Braille. Candidates who are availing compensatory time
will have to arrange Scribe on their own.
b. PwBD Candidates who have indicated the requirement of scribe in the application form are
required to bring following in original:-
i. Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examinee to write.
ii. Letter of undertaking for using Own Scribe. Format available on registration portal and
Naval Website indiannavy.cbexams.com
10. Candidates are required to submit their Admit Card to invigilator before leaving examination hall. Not
submitting Admit Card will lead to cancellation of candidature. However, candidates are advised to keep
a copy of Admit Card for his/her personal record.
11. This Admit Card is valid only for the stipulated date, shift and time as specified thereon. Candidates will
not be eligible to appear in another shift on the same date or any other date, if absent from the scheduled
shift.
12. Qualifying the examination would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as it is
only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
13. For the benefit of candidates, a mock test in lines of CBRT is available for familiarization & practice on
the website Naval website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.
14. In case of any untoward situation or unavoidable circumstances if any exam/batch is cancelled, in such
event, rescheduled details will be provided on Join Indian Navy website and information regarding same
will intimated through SMS/ Email.

information as mentioned in the notification published in Employment News dated 13-19 May 23.
