A RESOLUTION OF WINS (Handwashing in Schools) CLUB IMPLEMENTING

HANDWASHING ACTIVITY AT CAHAN BARRIO SCHOOL

WHEREAS; maintaining proper hand hygiene is essential for preventing the spread of diseases,
including but not limited to, bacterial and viral infections;

WHEREAS; also, the Handwashing Club at Cahan Barrio School has shown dedication and
enthusiasm towards promoting handwashing practices among students and staff members;

WHEREAS; the implementation of handwashing activities within the school premises can
significantly contribute to the overall health and well-being of the school community;

WHEREAS; integrating handwashing activities into the school curriculum can educate students
about the importance of hand hygiene and cultivate lifelong habits of cleanliness and disease
prevention

WHEREAS; During the meeting, it was presented that the basic way to lessen and stop the
disease and infection is to do the basic handwashing

WHEREAS; the Cahan Barrio School WINS Club proposed a program to conduct a daily
handwashing in school DAILY before entering the classroom, before and after recess to be done
simultaneously

Now therefore; on motion of the WINS Club Officers together with the WINS Club adviser,
seconded by the school Officer-in-Charge and the other members of the Teaching Faculty; be it

Resolved; as it is hereby resolved the WINS Club Resolution No 2 s. 2023 of Cahan Barrio
School, will conduct a simultaneous handwashing activity daily, before entering the school, before
and after recess.

Resolved; the monitoring of the said program of the WINS Club will be done and monitored by
the different members of the club, together with the list of team who will monitor and the schedule
of monitoring during the handwashing activity.

Resolved Further; that the copy of this resolution be furnished to the Cahan Barrio School and
the WINS Club for appropriate action.

Unanimously Approved; March 16, 2023 Friday, at Cahan Barrio School, Cahan,
Bagamanoc, Catanduanes.
