Reorganizing the Barangay Development Council (BDC)
Pursuant to Republic Act (R.A) No. 7160 otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 as Amended and its Implementing Rules and
Regulations, the Barangay Development Council (BDC) of Barangay Poblacion,
Lugait, Misamis Oriental is hereby constituted as follows:
Section 1. Composition- the Barangay Development Council (BDC) shall
be composed of the following:

Members : YUVERN M. TAONGAN - SBrgy. Member
ROSABELL J. LIM - SBrgy. Member
JOSEPH CHRISTIAN Y. LIM - SBrgy. Member
ELIZALDE E. ERMAC - SBrgy. Member
DANILO G. BUTANAS - SBrgy. Member
DENNIS D. ESTENZO - SBrgy. Member
ERNESTO G. AGOSTO III - SBrgy. Member
LOVELY JOY J. ALIVIO - SK Chairman

Section 2. Functions of the BDC- the BDC shall have the following functions:
1. Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts;
2. Prepare Barangay Development Plans based on local requirements;
3. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national and local
programs and projects; and
4. Perform such other functions, as may be provided by law or component
authority.
Section 3. The BDC Secretariat is likewise constituted as follows:

Section 4. Functions of the BDC Secretariat- The BDC Secretariat shall have the following functions:

1. Provision of Technical support to the BDC;

2. Documentation of Council’s Proceedings
3. Preparation of the Council’s Reports; and
4. Provisions of other assistance as may be needed by the council.

Section 5. Funding Support. Funding support for the Barangay Development Council shall be charged
against the fund of the Barangay Government subject to availability of funds and to the usual accounting and
auditing rules and regulations.

Section 6. Effectivity. This order shall take effect immediately.

Done this 1st day of February, 2024 at Barangay Poblacion, Lugait, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
