Woman: Hello, how can I help you?
Man: Yes, I need to get to my hotel. It’s near Liverpool Street Station.
Woman: Well, there are some ways to get there. There’s a train every fifteen minutes. It’s very fast. It takes only 16
minutes.
Man: Sounds good. How much is the ticket?
Woman: It’s quite expensive. You must pay twenty pounds.
Man: Oh, that’s a lot. Is there any cheaper way?
Woman: Yes, there’s a bus. It’s much cheaper, but it takes longer.
Man: How long does it take?
Woman: About forty minutes. The ticket is only five pounds. You won’t have to wait long because the bus runs
every five minutes.
Man: I think I’ll take it.
Woman: Okay, the bus station is that way.
Man: Thank you very much!
Woman: You’re welcome!

Matt, Manchester
Hi! I’ve read on the Internet that a lot of schools have film clubs. What exactly do you do in a film club? Has
anyone got any ideas or tips?
Liz, Manchester
Hello Matt! To set up a film club, you need a teacher or a parent because there’s a lot to do, and sometimes you
need to ask them. A film club should run after school because there isn’t time to watch a whole movie at lunchtime.
Jenny, London
Hi Matt! A film club should be more than just watching films, or your members will lose interest. At our film club,
we hold our own Oscars ceremony and give prizes to the best film, actor, etc.
Phil, Bristol
Hi, guys! There are lots of useful websites, and you can find some tips there, so have a look online! Apart from that,
how about selling snacks and refreshments? It’ll create a nice relaxed atmosphere for everybody.

Subject: A traffic incident
Hi Nam!
I had an incident today. I accidentally ran a red light on my way to school! I got up late and was in a hurry this
morning. My mind was elsewhere. Thankfully, nothing bad happened, but it made me realise how important it is to
stay focused when on the road. Also, I shouldn’t go to bed late in order to get up early the next morning.
I thought I would share this experience with you. Let’s catch up soon.
Take care,
