The line graph demonstrates the capacity of cargo delivered by four means of transportation (road,

water, rail, pipeline) between 1974 and 2002.

Overall, road means far exceeds three other modes of transport such as water, rail and pipeline.
Moreover, while road, water and pipeline transport increased throughout the year, railway means
fluctuated. (Which is the most and which increase, which decrease)

Starting with roads and pipelines, a majority of 80 million tonnes of goods were transported by road
in 1974. From 1978 to 1990, it fluctuates but reach a staggering amount of 80 million. In 1998, the
number took a major change and reached a peak of 90 million in 2002. However, pipeline has the
lowest cargo being transported throughout many years. It started off at 10 million in 1974 and
rapidly rose to 25 million which maintained from 1982 to 1990. From then on, the number lower to
20 million in 3 years.

Goods delivered by water and rail all began at approximately 40 million. Nevertheless, water
increased rapidly to 55 million in 1982 and stayed the same for 4 years when it rose again to 62
million. On the other hand, rail decreased tremendously to 30 million in 1986 and fluctuating
between 30 million and 35-40 million from 1990 to 2002.
