How to run a

successful campaign!
1. Identify your donor
First, make a list of potential donors. Target a donor
whom you are comfortable with and you won't hesitate
speaking to, for example your parents. This will help you
develop your pitch, and gain confidence. We will be
sharing more information on pitching and marketing.
Once you are confident, you should proceed to pitching to
other potential donors.
2. Structure your pitch
Make a strong pitch to effectively communicate the whole
idea to them. The pitch is divided into three parts.

1. Introduction, tell them about us in brief.

2. The problem , speak about the problems in detail and
make them realise the magnitutude of the issue and why
it needs attention from their side .
3. The solution, about project KEYtaab and project Saarthi,
and how it is focused to transform these children into
future problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Now remember, to make the donor appreciate the cause, you

will have to convey this more like a story.
3. The Authenticity of an NGO

Last three year's Audit reports, (Audited by a registered CA
firm) are an account of the utilisation of donations. Where the
money comes from, and how it is spent.
You will find Annual reports of the last three years on the link.
These are an extensive report of what we did around the year.
This is also mailed to all donors every year.
Make sure, you inform the donor, that they receive the
newsletters every month. Newsletters are monthly updates to
the donors, of how their money is being spent.
