DETAILED ITINERARY
Mumbai to Chandigarh/ Ambala
11:00 AM- Meet and greet your fellow travellers at Bandra Terminus
Railway Station and proceed your journey towards Chandigarh via
Paschim Express.
OR
06:00 PM- Meet and greet at Mumbai Central Railway Station and
proceed your journey towards Ambala Cantt via Golden Temple
Express.

Spend your day in the train playing some ice breaking games with your trip
buddies!

Reach Chandigarh/ Ambala, leave for Narkanda

Reach Chandigarh/ mabala in late afternoon and we leave for


Narkanda
Dinner & Overnight stay in Narkanda
Narkanda- Rakchham
We checkout after breakfast and head towards
Hatu Peak which is the Highest peak of Shimla,
our first sightseeing destination.
Scenic beauty of the Shivalik hills can be
enjoyed on the steep road to Hatu Peak.
On the top of the peak, there's Hatu Temple
dedicated to Maa Kaali.
Fun Fact: There is an ancient stove-like formation of rocks nearby
the temple. Locals believe that it was used by the Pandavas to cook
food during their Agyaat Vyas.

We now leave for Rakchham, a beautiful hamlet


in Sangla Valley. O/N Rakchham
Visit to the last village of India- CHITKUL

Wake up to the sound of Baspa River


flowing just in front of our stay.
Freshen up and leave for Chitkul- India's
Last Village on Indo- Tibet Border.
Visit Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba, have
some snacks there & enjoy the feeling of
eating in the Akhri Dhaba at India’s Last
Village :p
In the evening, we can do some forest
walk or spend some peaceful time at the
banks of Baspa River chilling and vibing
with everyone and end this day in an
amazing way.
Dinner and Overnight stay at Rakchham.
Enroute Nako via Kalpa

After having breakfast, we checkout and head


towards Nako via one of the most beautiful
towns- Kalpa.
kalpa is famous for it's spectacular views of Kinner
Kailash Peak- summer abode of Lord Shiva.
We spend some time at the Suicide Point in Roghi
clicking some cliche Instagram worthy photos and
to make your friends envy you!
We take a pitstop at khab, the confluence of Spiti
and Sutlej rivers which you will easily be able to
differentiate the colour of.
In the evening, we reach Nako Village, the last
hamlet of Kinnaur Valley and get ourselves
checked in the Beautiful Stay.
Dinner & O/N in Nako.
Nako- Tabo- Gue- Kaza (Entering Spiti Valley)
Today, we visit Nako Lake & then leave for Tabo-
one of the prettiest towns of Spiti Valley.
On our way, we visit Gue- a little village where lies
a perfectly well preserved 500-year-old Mummy of
Sangha Tenzing, a Buddhist Monk from Tibet. It is
found in a sitting position with his skin & hair intact.

Fun Fact: o free his village from a plague of scorpions. The monk known
as Sangha Tenzin is probably the only mummy in India to have
undergone natural mummification. It is believed that when Sangha
Tenzin's soul finally left his body, a rainbow appeared across the sky and
the village was rid forever from scorpions.

We reach Tabo & explore Tabo Monaestry, then


make way towards Kaza- The Headquarters of
Spiti Valley.
Reach Kaza late evening, Dinner & Overnight Stay.
Langza- Komic- Hikkim
Today, after Breakfast leave to visit some Best
places around Spiti.
We explore the Best of Spiti Valley, starting from
Hikkim village, which hosts the world’s highest post
office at an altitude of 14,567 Ft. Collect and send
handwritten postcards to your loved ones from
here!
After that, we head towards Komic Village which is
the world's highest village connected by
motorable roads at an altitude of 15,500 ft.
Our last stop for the day will be the village of
Langza, known for its fossils. You can find
prehistoric fossil remains here if you're lucky.
Visit the famous massive Buddha Statue here and
then return to Kaza.
You are free to explore Kaza's Famous Market, try
out delicious food & cafes, then head back to stay
for Dinner and overnight stay.
Key Monaestry- Chichham Bridge- Chandrataal Lake

We start off early today, check out and leave for


Key Monaestry situated at the height of 13,668 ft.
You can have great conversation with the monks
here.
We now visit Chichham Bridge (via Kunzum Pass) -
The World's Highest Bridge from sea level at 13,224
ft. It is one of the most Spectacular bridges in the
world & is situated above a deep gorge about
1000 ft high.
We now head to Chandrataal Lake- a stunning
blue coloured lake which is located at an altitude
of 4,200 meters above sea level in the heart of
Himalayas. Watch the lake change colours from
the crystal clear shades of blue to emerald greens
by dusk.
Overnight stay in Camps near Chandrataal/ Losar.
Note: Stay near Chandrataal is subject to availability and weather conditions.
Atal Tunnel- Manali

We drive to the heart of Himachal- Manali via


the most popular Atal Tunnel.
Checkin, freshen up and go for Cafe
Hopping/ Mall Road in Manali.
Chill & Vibe as much as you can in the cafes
of Manali because this will be your last night
in paradise!

Kunzum Pass is one of the highest motorable passes of India


and acts as a connection link between Lahaul Valley and the
Spiti Valley.
Manali to Ambala & Return Train Journey

Bid Adieu Himachal, thanking their love and hospitality as we leave


back for Ambala Cantt Railway Station. Bid Farewell Paradise!
11:00 PM- We board our train back to Mumbai.

NOTES

Participants must carry their own masks and sanitizers.


Maintaining social distance throughout the trip is mandatory.
Early check-in is subject to availability.
Company's vehicle will only be accessible till parking areas.
The schedule can be changed on the spot by the manager according to the
circumstances and convenience.
Any cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strike, bandh, riots,
flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, natural calamity like heavy
rainfall, landslides, snowfall, earthquake will be directly borne by the guests.
If there's any landslide/ roadblock situation, Additional Cost- around Rs.
2000/- per day.
Trekkers Tribe won't be responsible in case any sightseeing/ activity gets
cancelled due to any natural calamities or man- made incidents.
Do NOT carry Suitcases or heavy luggage, a good Backpack is recommended
and would be comfortable to carry.
NOTES
Guests would be responsible for safety of their luggage/ baggage throughout the
trip.
It's a bagpacking trip and not a luxury trip, and this is how we will be able to fully
taste the culture and enjoy to the fullest.
We haven’t included Lunch since most of the time we will be out exploring the places
at Lunch time, but you will have plenty of options to explore local cuisines in Local
eateries, dhabbas, cafes, etc. One can expect a budget of around Rs 100-150/- per
meal.
There will be no room service, luxury hotels, room heaters, etc services. This
backpacking trip is planned to experience the local & feel the Himalayas to the
fullest.
If at all the trip gets cancelled due to any event beyond our control or lockdown a
nominal cancellation fees of 8% will be charged and guest will get the credit note of
the remaining amount paid by them which can be used anytime in the near future.
Train ticket bookings usually starts from 4 Months before the departure dates, so
there are chances the tickets will be in RAC/Waiting if you book the tour late. Please
check the ticket status with us at the time of booking, you might have to pay a bit
extra to get a confirm seats according to the availability, if the tickets aren’t
available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Initial Registration amount is 50% refundable only if


cancelled 45 days before the trip.
Out of the second and final installment paid, cancellation fees
will be:
25% if cancelled before 10 days of the trip.
50% if cancelled before 08 days of the trip.
70% if cancelled before 06 days of the trip.
90% if cancelled before 03 days of the trip.
100% if cancelled before 02 days of the trip
