this pressure is not released before any service is done on the

before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler

NOTICE
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during
performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and
repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with
suitable containers before opening any compartment or
disassembling any component containing fluids.

Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool

Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain
fluids on Cat products.

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and

mandates.

Note: Mark all components for correct installation. When you disconnect the hoses, plug the hoses and
cap the connections in order to keep the system clean.

1. Remove the floorplate.

2. Disconnect four hoses (1).

3. Disconnect three hoses (2).

4. Disconnect five hoses (4).

5. Remove three bolts (3) and remove pressure control valve (5).

Installation Procedure
1. Install pressure control valve (5).
