I. GENERAL OVERVIEW
Project Title: Environmental Science: Field Trip Exploration
Proponents: Elaine Marie Espinas and Wel Jhon Loon
Target Beneficiaries: BSCE 2C
Target Date: June 4, 2024

II. RATIONALE

Caring for the environment starts from our own initiative to help and create

better surroundings for all. Align with this, as part of our requirement for our

subject, the Environmental Science, we would like to propose a field trip

encompassing objectives of making a better environment by holding a clean-up

drive and riverside clean up in our chosen barangay. This will help in creating

camaraderie between the students of BSCE 2C students, building connections,

making a cleaner environment, and making worthy actions using our time.

III. OBJECTIVES

1. Fill the requirement for this subject

2. Help in cleaning the environment

3. Creating bonding with the classmates

4. Make and finish a clean-up drive before the end of semester

5. Plant more trees in our chosen barangay

A. METHODOLOGY

1. Every student must contribute 50.00 for the expenses needed for the field
trip.
2. We will choose a suitable site considering soil quality, space, and
ecological benefits
3. Secure funding for supplies (gloves, trash bags, and other materials)
4. Obtain necessary permission from the local authorities
5. Partner with local environmental groups, schools, or business for support
6. Arrive early to set up for clean up and planting
7. Collect liter systematically, segregate recyclables and non-recyclables
8. Dig appropriate holes, plant saplings, water them, and install protective
barriers if necessary.
9. Ensure proper disposal of collected waste to appropriate facilities.
10. For tree planting, organize periodic watering and maintenance sessions.
11. Document the event with photos and videos.
12. Encourage community members to adopt sustainable practices in their
daily lives.

B. TARGET BENEFICIARIES

The target beneficiaries of this project proposal are the students of BSCE 2C

and the Barangay of B. Titong.
