REACTION PAPER

DATE: JUNE 10,2024

Being connected to nature is one of my stress reliver as an environmental

enthusiast. That is why I was thrilled when I heard that there we will be having a
field trip and coastal clean-up as part of the curriculum. While drafting our
proposal, I was overjoyed of what will happen during the activity.

Finally, the day of the activity came. I can see the excitement of every participants
(my classmates) while putting their cloves on. We stated the cleaning outside the
Mangrovetum Park, and then the insides. I am glad the caretaker makes an
exemption for us not to par for the entrance fee and welcome us with a grateful
smile.
During the clean-up I can the essence of the so called bayanihan. Everyone did the
activity actively.

I can say that the activity really is a worthy initiative and is worth doing. The
activity does not only keep the environment clean but reflects our commitment to
preserving the natural beauty and ecological balance of the area as well.
The cleanup and walking field trip not only help in maintaining the cleanliness of
the mangrove park but also raises awareness about the importance of
environmental conservation. It’s encouraging to see individuals and organizations
coming together to protect these precious ecosystems. And I’m even prouder that I
am part of it.
To sum it up, the coastal clean-up and walking field trip activity is not just about
picking up trash; they’re about protecting our planet for future generations. By
