I. TITLE: Conduct of Measles-Rebulla Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental

Immunization Supplemental Activity (MR OPV SIA)

II. RATIONALE/BACKGROUND
In view of the mandate and in connection with the PD 0f 1987 constitution of the Republic of the
Philippines declares that the Sate shall protect and promote the right to health of the people and instill health
consciousness among them. The PD No. 996 that every child is an important asset of the nation and therefore
every effort must be exerted to promote his/her welfare and enhance his/her opportunities for a useful and
happy life, it is also mandatory for infants and children Health Immunization Act of 2011 RA 10152 mandates
the state to take a proactive role in the preventive health care of infants and children by adopting a
comprehensive, mandatory and sustainable immunization program for vaccine-preventable disease for all
infants and children.
The Department of health is launching the Measles-Rebulla Oral Polio Vaccine Supplemental
Immunization Activity (MR OPV SIA) with the campaign name Chikiting Ligtas sa dagdag Bakuna Kontra
Polio,Rebulla at Tigdas.

III. OBJECTIVES

Generally this Republic Act is to encourage all to support the DOH` program/campaign and intensity
efforts to rebuild the trust to the public in the expanded program on immunization (MR OPV SIA)

Specifically, after the activity, the residents/constituents of the barangay shall be able to:

1. MR OPV SIA Polio, supplemental Oral Polio Vaccination to the Children 0-119 months.
2. ensuring the safety and security of the vaccination teams within their jurisdiction
3. Enhance and strengthen existing policies for the effective implementation of programs, project
about polio.
4. Timely reporting of documents of all activities conducted that is related to the MP OPV SIA
Campaign to the Municipal Health office.

IV. PARTICIPANTS
 Children- ages 0-119 months
 NDP`s and BHW
 Guests and Visitors/Vaccinator

V. DATE AND VENUE

The MR OPV SIA will be conducted hole Month of May 2023, house to house to recipient children

VI. BUDGETARY RERQUIREMENTS

Meals and Snacks . . . . . . . . . . . . . 20,000.00
