SCRIPT FOR PRESENTING THE ACTION PLAN

Intro: We`re the presenter for panel 4 which entitled action-plan

Irish: It turns out it’s a serious matter that we need to address right away.
Alleah Yes you are right, this will greatly effect a large number of students and personnel at mbhs-
main
Irish: As students, the situation became overwhelming when we faced difficulties in our passageway
during an evacuation amidst a disaster

Irish - that’s why every problem that we encounter in our community or even in our daily lives, we
always find a solution to fix it. And, before putting the solution into action we have to plan it. Our
research topic about the pnr project that was happening in our barangay is a project that brings out a
massive change in the way of transportation. Regarding the advantages of this project, it has become
the talk of the people especially our school mbhs-main which they worry about a lot of things. They
say the noise causes distraction and the project would leave a narrow passageway that serves as an
evacuation of the students when a disaster happens.

Alleah - we never want to neglect or we are not against the solution because we know they also have
a good intention. But as a student who will be affected, our objective just wants to let both sides meet
in between. It is because this problem need to address immediately. For example, the railway need to
have a barrier this month. But our principal request to delay it and just do it at the end of the school
year. It is because its hard to make adjustments when the project started. That is why our first
proposed action titled,

Both: “PROJECT WAY: CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PASSAGEWAY”.

Alleah: It aims to find a route that will serve as a new passageway for the people. Can be at the back
of the main building. It will help to have a better way or a closer way for evacuation. Coordinating with
the local government can help us to initiate this action plan.

Irish - next is the one entitled,

Both: “PRODUCTIVE WAY TO ADDRESS THE WORRY ABOUT RAILWAY”.

Irish; wait, let me tell you something. Did you hear about the earthquake on the last october 13 a lot of
students were experiencing difficulties due to the stampede and hot temperature. And the railway
space, up to espeleta functioned as their evacuation center .that’s why project: Way to address the
worry about railway, its main objective is to find another place outside the school where we can have
gatherings when it comes to our activities. A place where it can accommodate a lot of students. The
passageway of our school also serves as a stage where we perform activities. If the project is
implemented, and it leaves a narrow path, it will be hard for us to do some activities.

Alleah - lastly, is the action plan entitled,

Both: “HEY! RAILWAY: FOR A BETTER AND MORE PRODUCTIVE WAY”.

Alleah: If in paliko creek there will be a new passageway when going to the school would be
implemented, it still leaves the worry for the students, teachers and non-personnel the problem which
is the distraction when students are having a class. It still wouldn’t let the student concentrate since
the train would be closer to them. This solution might cause a thorough discussion but it would be
possible if mbhs-main would be re-constructed to another place far from the railways. We know that it
would take much time and budget, but it would decrease the problem. We hope that our presentation
will let you consider our plan of action.
