PURPOSE
The state of our planet and the life on it needs utmost care
and attention at all the three levels - physical, social,
emotional and spiritual. Our children are our nation builders
whose innocent, imaginative, inclusive and progressive ideas
need to be heard, understood and shared. Filmmaking is a
powerful, immersive and engaging medium for children to
express their ideas.
An intense 6-day offline animation workshop which
offers a healthy space for our young creators to

1. Raise their consciousness towards self, environment and their

purpose.

2. Verbalise their awareness and the change they desire.

3. Express their creativity.

4. Trust and interact with each other and share their ideas on
a. Interconnectedness
b. Responsible Consuming
c. Climate Action

5. Learn how to express their ideas through an animated short.

6. Build sensitivity towards experimentation and learning from

failure.
7. Building a community of creators and storytellers that make a real
difference in society.

8. Fostering a love for artistic and creative endeavours as an essential

aspect of a full life.

You Will
Need
1. Stationery
a. A4 size Notebook (unruled) - 1 per participant
b. Blue/Black Pen + Coloured Sketch pens + Crayons
c. White and Coloured Chart Papers, Cardboard (1 set per group)
d. Scissors, Paper cutter

2. Technology
a. 1 Android Mobile (in each group of 4) with sufficient speed and memory.

b. 1 Mobile tripod with mobile clip (in each group of 4).

 7 STEP LEARNING
JOURNEY

1. Intrigue
Question Gives Birth to The Quest, We will learn to ask questions.
Questions about our world and its dynamics, our relationship with it
and our purpose and responsibility towards our world as storytellers.

2. Intent
Follow Your Heart and It Will Lead You To the Universe. Each
participant will dive deep into the self and find the change they wish
to see in their world and share it with each other and the source of
their inspiration.

3. Explore
Story Inspires, Story Heals, Story Enlightens. Participants will explore
how to weave a story for a focus group around the change they desire.
Participants will explore and befriend the power of animation and its
ability to manifest their imagination.

4. Implement
Participants will carry out their plan and create an animated short of
30 seconds to 1 minute. From creating assets, to animation and editing
their shots with music will be a rich experience for each participant.
 5. Discover
Learning Comes Through Experimentation and Failure. This
will be our grandest discovery. Each participant will learn and
discover as per their own unique paths.

6. Reflect
The most essential aspect of learning is to reflect what we have
learnt about ourselves through this intense creative (physical-
intellectual-emotional-social-spiritual) process.

7. Celebrate
Joy grows exponentially when we share it. Participants will share
their learning, journey and experience with their friends and family
and celebrate.

Creators Express
1. Publication - We compile, publish and share these inspiring
films from the participants on our Youtube channel.
About Siddharth Maskeri –
The Conscious Storyteller-Facilitator

Siddharth made his debut in Indian Cinema with his story – Masti
Express. Some of his works and current projects include Get My Goat – a
DreamWorks YouTube animated series; interactive experiences for
Bihar Museum in Patna; Enko The Eskimo – a kids’ animated series co-
developed with Emmy Nominated Writer Mike Blum and Cartoon
Network USA; and many more. He has collaborated with some of the
leading studios across India such as Toonz Animation, Assemblage
Entertainment, and Citrus Ink Studios to create compelling value-based
content for Indian and International audiences. Pa Ja Ma, a family
comedy animated series which premiered on Sony Yay on 5th December
2022, is Siddharth's recent success in collaboration with Toonz
Animation. After serving the film industry for 20 years, in May 2017,
Siddharth and his life partner Smriti started Soulify, with a mission to
raise human consciousness through storytelling, writing, art, theatre,
and filmmaking.
About Soulify and It’s Founders

Soulify is a non-profit movement driven by compassion for the health

and welfare of participants of all ages to unite and inspire them to
believe, identify and achieve their dreams. Implementing their Story
Rainbow pedagogy, this vision to unite through experiential stories,
and empowering through an expression of these humane tales, was
founded by Siddharth and Smriti on 21st May 2017. Since then, Soulify
Story Bus has travelled across India (offline sessions) and the world
(online sessions) facilitating hundreds workshops, connecting
thousands participants to their creative higher self.
