1.0 Introduction

This assignment was assigned by my lecturer, Sir Ahmad Azman bin Mohamad
Ramli to me for IMR451 course. I was assigned to do an article review about Records
Management or any article that related to Records Management. I asked him to survey the
three articles that I found before I begin my article review. The three article that I will do an
article review are “Effective Records Management Program in Organization,” “Records
management and data management: closing the gap,” and “Improving records management to
promote transparency and prevent corruption.”

I cite the article I reviewed using APA 7th Edition for the citation. To offer consistent
and understandable documentation of the sources referenced in research papers, essays, and
other academic works, APA style is usually applied in academic writing, especially in social
scientific areas. The style contains instructions on how to structure papers, properly credit
sources, and make bibliographies and reference lists. Efficiency and precision in
communication are the goals of the APA style, making it easier for readers to find and
comprehend the sources cited in each work. The APA Style 6th Edition and the APA Style
7th Edition are the two versions of the style that are most frequently used.

Intended audience is mean by the targeted reader that has in the author mind. Based
on the three article that I have reviewed, which were “Effective Records Management

and “Improving records management to promote transparency and prevent corruption” have
the same intended audience which are for records management staffs, any organizations,
researchers, academics, lecturers, and students.

7.0 General problem

A general problem is an assertion made regarding a problem from the article that has
been brought up in academic literature, theory, or practice earlier and needs to be answered,
resolved, challenged, or clarified.

1. First article: Based on “Effective Records Management Program in

Conclusions

What I can conclude from these three article that I have reviewed, three of it contain
numerous informational knowledge about records management. The articles can be used by
variety types of reader especially for records management staff in any organizations.
Furthermore, this assignment teaches me take every word in the articles very seriously
because all of them contain important information especially for a student like me.
