Sub: Nomination of official to visit IIT Bombay to build Software for Time Tabling and Crew scheduling.

Software for creating Time Table and Crew scheduling for Line-7 are being developed by IIT Bombay. The
software are being written in python language with regular input of DMRC’s Time Tabling & Crew scheduling
team which is in continuous telephonic communication with IIT Bombay team.

To develop the software, DMRC team has visited IIT Bombay on 09th Jan 2024, 11th Jan, 2024 and 17th March
2024. The software tool development is in advanced stage. Now, IIT Bombay has offer a physical meeting in
which they explain their codes written for Software of Time Tabling and Crew scheduling.

Therefore, a team comprising of experts in python, time table & crew scheduling is proposed to visit IIT
Bombay.

In view of the above, the following staff are proposed to be nominated for visiting IIT Bombay from June 4-7,
2024 :

entitled category of train.

JGM/TO/178 is requested to kindly approve the nomination of above staff under SOP E 5 (a) attached at CP-1 .

Further, DO&S may kindly approve air travel of above staff under SOP E 5(e) attached at CP-1 .
