Career Services Registration Process

* Pathway: UMS Navigation > Placement Services > Career Service Registration

The registration process is divided into 2 steps/phases:


* Process Step-1: Consent for option preference into Career Services
* Process Step-2: Profile Update and PEP Fee payment for students opting for Job Placements

Process Step-1: Consent for option preference into Career Services


In this step, student will be asked for his/her consent to enrol into one of the Career Services options
Support from university.
* Pathway: UMS Navigation > Placement Services > Career Service Registration
Process Step-1 will be allowed only to students who will have current minimum CGPA of 5 (or
equivalent). This step is mandatory for every such student eligible for registration.

 Students interested to appear for university facilitated campus recruitment drives for
placement/internship or other activities, must select “JOB PLACEMENT” option and then select
their appropriate program of highest degree with which the student will be graduating in the
respective year as applicable to the student. The students selecting “JOB PLACEMENT” support
option will be routed to Process Step-2 after this step.

 Student interested to seek university support in preparing for other options such as “Higher
Studies, Entrepreneurship, Government Jobs, Research, Social Services, Sports, etc.” may
select corresponding option instead of “Job Placement”. These students will not be allowed to sit
in university facilitated campus recruitment drives for placement/internship etc. Registration
process for these students will be completed at this step itself.

Process Step-2: Profile Update and PEP Fee payment for students opting for Job Placements.
This step is mandatory for those students who opt for “Job Placement” during Career Services
Registration Process Step-1.
Alternate Pathway for registration Process Step-2:
UMS Navigation > Placement Services > Placement Portal > Placement Process-2 Registration.

In this step student will be required to update his/her profile, upload current CV and fill other details as
asked, and then click on SUBMIT button after TICK-marking all details as CORRECT against all the
check boxes.
After submitting profile update, the students will be required to make online payment of the
appkicable PEP Fee as it will be guided by the interface.

PEP Fee shall be paid online through Placement Registration interface itself.

Students will have a choice to make “full” PEP fee payment at this step or “part” payment of PEP Fee
to complete registration process. Students making part-payment will be required to pay balance PEP
fee within the timelines already conveyed through UMS.

Convenience charges shall be applicable against online PEP fee payment.

Students will not be allowed to avail Career Services without preparedness support activities i.e., PEP
activities and without paying the PEP test fees.

The registration is considered complete only after Process Step-2 is successfully completed with
applicable PEP fee payment.
