 COMPANY HISTORY

Establishment
Established in 1968, under technical collaboration of M/s Oerlikon Buhrle of Switzerland
Ownership:
100% owned by Govt of Pakistan, Operative through SITECH Group o Companies
Commercial Production
In Year 1970 PMTF Started its Production with Machine Tools,
Defense Production
In Year 1974 PMTF started production of Defence items and started from RR106mm
Meeting Bulk Production Opportunities
 In Years 1986, to meet higher market demand PMTF has under gone into BMR&E Programs and started
bulk production of Tractors and Loco Parts (Gears, Shafts, Pinions)
 In 1991 a UNIDO Tech Assistance Program started and added various high tech facility through BMRE
 In Year 2005 for meeting higher demand of Motorcycle Parts, PMTF under gone BMRE further facilities
 In Year 2014-15 PMTF switch towards bulk production of Defence items to meet the opportunities of
CPEC Project (China Pak Economic Corridor) 4
