1. What is MS Excel ?
Ans MS Excel is a powerful spreadsheet program where one can
record data in the form of tables. This gives the user a more
systematic display of data. It organizes data in columns and rows and
allows you to do mathematical functions.

2. Define
a. Autofill
Autofill features of excel is used to add duplicate entries of a
data series. We can use this features to fill cells with data that
follows a pattern or that is based on data in the cells. It will save
your time by completing the text or number series for you such
as days of the week, month name etc.
b. Gridlines
The horizontal and vertical lines representing the rows and
columns on the worksheet are called gridlines. They allow us to
see and identify each cell within a worksheet.

4. Write steps of the following

a. Deleting a worksheet
i. Right click on the worksheet tab.
ii. Click on Delete.

ii. Select both the cell
iii. Position the mouse pointer over the bottom right corner of
the last selected cell . The mouse pointer changes to (+)
iv. Drag the mouse pointer over the cell you want to include in
the series.
