After successful completion of the course, student will be able to

CO 1: Interpreate the basic concepts in chemical engineering plant design and its economical
aspects.
CO 2: Outline the plant layout by selecting plant location, process, auxiliaries and utilities.
CO 3: Evaluate profitability and breakeven, alternative investment, depreciation, planning and
scheduling with its economic aspects.
CO 4: Develop Barchart, CPM/PERT chart for project management.
